Our very first neighbourhood gin collaboration is almost ready, after numerous trials with locally garden grown and foraged botanicals, we are very happy with the result. This gin speaks of the season. It's the first days of summer and everything is blooming, so we went out and foraged for kawakawa flowers and berries. We also have some awesome neighbours that contributed lemon leaves, rosemary, thyme and roses... with the full botanical mix being released on the day of the launch.

As with every gin we produce, two botanicals will always remain the same, hand harvested wild Himalayan juniper and Hawkes Bay grown coriander seeds. Fantail Gins are unique because all of our community sourced ingredients are distilled fresh, while most commercial gins use dried botanicals. Every neighbourhood gin is made in a single batch, which means we might come back and make more later on but it'll never be repeated again with the same botanical mix.
